Doing some work -- The headrests!
Here's the template Alpine gives you to cut the holes the right size.
Here's the first cut just to remove the leather cover. I left some slits in the corners so the leather could fold in nicely. Turns out that was too much, so I made much smaller slits. That worked. :)
After removing some padding, I realized there were a couple of metal support posts that would need to be cut. These posts just prevent the back of the headrest from being too compressed.
Using a dremel with some cut-off disks, I dremeled off the posts. They are solid metal.
Next was to drill a hole in the support post for the wiring to go down. The arrows also point to where I drilled holes for the wireties to secure the bracket which the LCD fits into.
Here you see the wire going down the drilled hole and the location of the hole for the wiretie.
